As a native Texan, I typically follow the rule to not eat Mexican food north of the Red River or east of the Sabine, because there is some baaaad Wal-Mart grade Mexican cuisine here in Ohio. That said, this place is the best I've found in the state. Especially the tacos and chips and salsa which are all out of this world. Portions are big, prices are cheap, and everything is fresh and handmade. Like others have said, it is a small place and sometimes you have to wait for a table, but it's so worth it. Plus, they have horchata (!), which I will need to try next week.

I was so happy to find this little spot! Authentic Mexican food in the middle of the rural Midwest. YUM.
My SO and I came in about 20 minutes before closing and they were fine with us eating in. We both got tacos: carne asada, al pastor, and barbacoa. They were all pretty solid - well-seasoned meat, double tortillas, and generous toppings of onion and cilantro. My only complaint would be that the carne asada was a tad gristly but very minor and not a big deal.
We also shared an order of rice and refried beans. Both were good but the latter was a bit bland. Lastly, my horchata tasted like a powder mix but one of the less fake-y ones.
Service was quick and friendly. Although this place has counter service, one of the employees came by to check on us during the meal.
I'll absolutely hit this place again the next time I'm around. -

Good Mexican food, family owned.
Pros: good food, you get ALOT of food and it's cheap. They take CC and there is no minimum. Free WIFI
Cons: they forgot my guacamole that was suppose to come with meal, place is very small, so I would not recommend it for big groups. They ran out of flan, but it was almost their closing time, so I understand. -

Great little restaurant, I stop here regularly for lunch, friendly wait staff, nice size portions for the lunch specials, perfect sized menu. Always clean and plenty of parking. Complimentary chips and salsa.
